
L.A. Cash for College helps to coordinate FREE financial aid completion clinics/workshops throughout the Los Angeles area as part of a statewide campaign to increase awareness of and access to student financial aid programs. These clinics/workshops help students navigate financial aid application forms so that they can obtain the financial support needed to pursue their college dreams.

Date and Location: Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Technology Learning Center (TLC), Room 402.
Description: West Los Angeles College is hosting an in-person workshop to assist students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and California Dream Act applications. Attendees will receive hands-on guidance to help secure financial aid for college expenses. Investing a short amount of time in this workshop can potentially yield substantial financial support for your education. Additional workshops are scheduled for January 28 and March 11 at the same location.


The Music Center’s Spotlight performing arts competition for high school students.
Each year, The Music Center awards $100,000 in scholarships, plus written feedback, mastery classes with world-renowned artists, performance opportunities, and more. The application deadline is October 13th (in one week).

Ford Philanthropy and Ford Dealers have teamed up to welcome the next generation of auto technicians by awarding $5,000 tuition scholarships to students pursuing careers in auto, diesel or, auto/diesel technology.
