Returning Student Disclaimer
Effective 2025, Kollab Youth requires returning members who did not graduate to submit an “intention essay” to the Program Coordinator at: programcoordinator@kollabyouth.org
The intention essay should consist of one paragraph (6 sentences) addressing the following prompts:
- Why are you returning to the Kollab Youth Program?
- What will you do differently in this new cohort?
- How do you plan to ensure you will successfully complete this new cohort?

About Us
COMPREHENSIVE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Collaboration, Creativity, Problem Solving, Project Management, Critical Thinking, Empathy, Initiative, Intercultural Fluency, Oral Communication and Resilience.
The Kollab Youth Workforce Development Program is an award winning 501(c)3 public charity organization and CA DAS Registered Pre-Apprenticeship Program created for under resourced middle and high school students. Kollab program helps them explore career opportunities in business, STEM and other emerging 21st century careers that are high growth and high wage jobs. Kollab Youth receive mentorship from industry experts and earn resume-worthy work experience through paid apprenticeships and internships connecting them with the future workforce and preparing them to compete in tomorrow’s workplace.

Kollab Youth provides low income underserved youth an exceptional program in workforce development within a nurturing environment, empowering teens to develop their potential, pursue their education and careers while strengthening their communities and it is free.
